Our Beach inspired candles are Hand Crafted, Hand Poured and beautifully Scented. All candles are made with the original High density Penreco gel wax, which is made of 95% Mineral oil and 5% Polimery Resin, this resin is what allows the mineral oil to transform into a solid jelly like consistency. We use 100% real seashells, and all natural materials. 

The burning of our candles represents the Ocean tides. A new candle is considered a high tide, and as it burns all the beautiful starfish and the small seashells that are floating will start falling to the bottom of the candle and when it is completely burnt you will see all the seashells at the bottom on the “ocean floor” imitating the beauty of a Low Tide.

Since Mineral oil / Gel candles are translucent,  in order to achieve a perfect full burn and to keep your candle beautiful and the jar and wax clean, it is important that you follow the proper burning instructions.

Unfortunately some people have the misconceptions that gel candles are unsafe to burn.In reality Mineral oil / Gel candles do not usually cause explosions or fires by themselves, it is in fact the container that holds the candle that can cause these issues. This is due to some of the drink-like gel candles we see, and  even though they are beautiful,  a drinking glass is not heat resistant and that is the reason why people were led to think that gel candles are unsafe.  All of our candle containers are 100% heat proof and that should put to rest any concerns you may have, as I mentioned before the wax we use is made of mineral oil and it is totally safe for your health and the air in your home.
